Top 10 MAC eyeshadows

MAC eyeshadows are my favourite! The pigmentation is great and I love how there as so many lovely colours to choose from.
Well here is my top 10 in no particular order
PHLOOF!
 TEMPTING
 MULCH
 CLUB
 HUMID
 HANDWITTEN
 DEEP TRUTH

KID (it chipped when i was depotting it)
CARBON ( its very blurry but its just a matte black)
PLUMAGE (blurry again sorry :( its also a matte colour)

That is all for my favourites. As you can tell im a big fan of brown eyeshadows for everyday neutral looks. On the weekend I like to add some colour using greens or blues blended with black usually.

What are your favourite MAC eyeshadows?

B.I.T.E Haul

On Monday I attended the Beauty Industry Trade Event!
I first heard about it on makeupandbeauty.ie aka Amy Dillons Blog! I registered on the website and decided that I had to pay a visit as im always moaning about nothing going on in Ireland!!
I didnt have to pay for entry and got a free glass of West Coast Cooler which was lovely :)
This event was more for beauty therapists rather than makeup artist but I still managed to pick up a few bits:)
Now on to the Haul....
I got these babies from Crown Brushes. The spoolie, eyeliner brush and pencil brush were €3, the 2 blending brushes, flat top crease brush and large concealer brush were €9 and the blusher brush was €12! Ive been using them everyday since i got them! Itsl love im tellin ya
I only got one thing from Fushia because they were sold out of everything and this translucent powder only cost me a fiver! I only tried it once and its quite nice
I love fake tanners! There was so many different fake tan brands at the show such as Organic tan, He-Shi, Rockstar tan, and many more and I choose this one because it was only €10 haha! Oh and also LittleKiva off youtube did a good review on it :) Ive used it twice and so far I really like it. It didnt streak and didnt turn me a funky colour!

Ive never heard of this brand but it really appealed to me because of the packaging. The pigmentation is great and the prices are very afordable. This is said to be a highligter and an eyeshadow! Its very shimmery and pretty :) Has a gold tint to it and looks amazing with a tan!
There was an offer on Bourjois products! It was jammers at their boot but i squzeed my way in :) I paid €10 for 5 products! They had loads of products to chose from.
There was also an offer on eyelashes! They were €4.50 each or €15 for 4! I also collect lashes because ill be using them to create looks for my portfolio :P
This little guy i picked up in Penneys/Primark for all you UK girls! I also got a few tank tops, leggins and a leopard cardi :)
Overall Pic!

I had so much fun at the event and will definitely be going back in Easter, I put my eye on a professional Spray tan gun and a pop up boot. Its going to cost me around €250-300 for the set and it also comes with 50ml of rockstar tan! The lady said it will last for about 25-30 applications which isnt bad!!

September In's & Out's!

Oh my god!
I just cant believe its already October, and Its Halloween in 30 days :)
I have a few ideas for what I want to be it just depends if I can find a decent costume to wear, or even make my own like i did last year! By the way I was a cat ... meow

IN:

Pampering:
There are days when I dont go anywhere after work and just stay in and relax! I like to put on a face mask, hair mask, paint my nails, bleach my teeth, do my tan, pluck my eyebrows. All those things make me feel really girly. I feel like I should be pampering myself more often but I just haven't got the time :(

E-bay Shopping:
Internet shopping in general but lately Ive been finding good things on ebay. Believe it or not but my very first MAC item was from ebay. It was a mineralized skinfinish natural and as far as i can remember i paid around €32 for it and I thought I was getting a bargain untill i found out that it actually costs less in a actual MAC store. Silly me :/

Fake Tan:
Now that its getting colder less skin is revealed. But that is not stopping me from religiously applying tan every 2-3 times a week!! At the mo im using St Moriz on my legs and GOSH self tan lotion on my upper body. It gives me a gorgeous glow and doesnt make me orange. As far as im concerned thats all i need in a tan :)

Neutrals:
I love neutral colours, on my eyes, lips, face.. everywhere! Every now and again i opt for a splash of colour but not often... Even my nails are painted a skin colour! Last month I was all about corals, so im sure this will change soon.

OUT:

Gel nails:
I got them done last month for my Debs and i guess they were ok, not great. I prefer short nails. Everything, and i mean everything gets stuck under them. Makeup, food, soap.. etc! Never mind the very noticeable regrowth, yikes! Theres no way im paying €35 to get them redone, not worth it!

Cleaning my makeup brushes:
Its such an effort. They never seem to be fully clean no matter how many times I wash them. I deep clean mine one a week, and spot clean them every day!

Work:
This speaks for itself.

My skin constantly changing:
A while ago I was oily and prone to breakouts. Now I have skin as dry as the sahara desert.. how cheesy haha
But its been hurting my bank account trying to fugure out what products suit my skin now and even thought im not oily anymore i do still get occasional pimples.

And that is all i can think of :)
Thank you for reading

Mini Haul

I went shopping over the weekend and got some small things to treat myself after a long week in work :)
Necklace from Claire. It was €9
Bracelet from Claires too, and it was €4 on the sale rack :)
Nude Rimmel nailpolish. It was about €4
Gosh fake tan. Purchased in superdrug. It cost €14

Some Harribos of course. Yum Yum
Found these in Claires also, they were €3.50 each.
Lovel LBD from New Look, i paid €30 for it. I wore it that weekend

Some Inspiration

I love looking at pretty photographs of models in gorgeous clothes, pretty makeup and amazing bodies!
They inspire me in a big way! When I see a model with a stunning body it makes me want to go for a jog or do sit ups in my room.
Also models with pretty makeup inspire me to try out different looks, go out of my comfort zone and practise more so i can reach the highest standards.

Love/Hate Tag!

I wasnt tagged by anyone to do this but im doing it anyway :)

LIPS

*Love*
Nude lipstick such as MAC Myth, creme de nude or Elf's Natural Nymph! Their all my fave!

*Hate*
Lipliner, its just not for me! My lips look just fine without it. I guess you might  need  it if your wearing a bright red lip but im a nude girl so no thank you :)

FACE

*Love*
MAC Sunbasque Blush. I use this as a bronzer one day and as a blush another day.It really warms up your face and makes your cheekbones pop!  :)
It has some shimmer in it but not too much so its perfect for me!

*Hate*
Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid. I hate this product with a passion. It has NO coverage, staying power is literally 10 minutes, and it goes on like water? What is the point please tell me

HAIR

*Love*
Leave in Conditioners. Doesnt matter which brand i just love what they do to my hair. I usually use a hair mask instead of a conditioner as my hair is very dry and damaged. After I towel dry my hair I also use either a spray or lotion leave in conditioner to make it that extra healtier and shiny :)

*Hate*
Blonde on top and brown on bottom look or vica versa. Its so tacky! 'Nuff said

EYES

*Love*
Eyeliner, Im currently using MAC fluidline with a Sigma angle brush. In my opinion it completes any eye look, makes your eyes bigger (if done the correct way) and the staying power of this baby is fantastic!

*Hate*
Short eyelashes!! :( Unfortunately I wasnt blessed with long lashes so im always on the lookout for a good lenghtening/voluminizing mascara. Ive tried YSL faux cils. yes its amazing but it dried up in 5 weeks? Its just not worth the money

BODY

*Love*
Fake tan of course!! Ahh i cant say enough about it, basically EVERYTHING looks better with a tan. Makeup, jewelery, nail colours etc. At the moment im using St Moriz tan and Gosh's new lotion! Forgot the name sorry ladies :(

*Hate*
Shaving. Its so irritating and annoying. I wish I had the guts to wax! Its just way too painful.

Feel free to tag yourself!!
Hope you enjoyed reading this

Berry/Purple Lips?

This trend has been out for quite a while. At first I hated it and though how could you possibly wear purple lipstick? But since last winter Ive managed to fall in love with the idea of looking... different?
Ive searched all over google and didnt find one Blonde wearing this lipcolour? So im wondering should I bother jumping on the band wagon or pass up the offer in case it doesnt suit me. Here is a few pictures ive found, it looks especially good on dark skin!! Jealous.. :(

If youve tried purple/berry lip colours please let me know as im sick of my nudes at this stage.. I need to inject colour in to my life :)
