First of all Id like to apologize for not posting in over 2 weeks. My exams are coming up and Ive been working a lot :( Excuses excuses I know but the pressure Im under to get my portfolio ready it un-efin-believable.
Anyway I bought a couple of new items that I would like to share with you. Some are great and some are a disappointment.
I took advantage of the "free shipping+free setting spray when spend over £10" offer.
I got :
Elf Studio Bronzer in Warm £3.50
Elf studio cream liner in purple £3.50
Elf gypershine gloss in bubblegum £1.50
Elf Therapeutic conditioning balm £1.50
and the Free gift was
Elf Studio make up mist & set £3.50
All I can say is that the bronzer and the liner have no pigmentation in them what so ever! But I will use them for days when I dont want to look like Im wearing a lot of make up.
MAC Studio Fix in NC25 for when I have a tan
MAC Studio Fix in NC25
MAC Snob Lipstick
I love these purchases! Snob is beautiful and as you can see Ive already worn it quite a few times!
I never use Studio Fix Fluid because it breaks me out but I figured if I only wear it on special occasions It should be ok! I hope :/
Make Up Forever
Make up Forever HD Primer €30
A Spatula €10
The primer is amazing, It has a yellow tint to it which brightens sallow skin and It definitely keeps my make up on all day. It is a nice creamy texture rather than that silicone feel that Smashbox Photofinish has which I hate!
The spatula is for college for decanting products.
These items were €2 each.
The tweezers are not great but I needed a new pair. However the brushes are lovely. They are flimsy but do a great job at blending out foundation and concealer.
I got other small things over the last few weeks but they are not worth mentioning!
Im planning on doing a "What's in my purse" post soon so keep an eye out for that!
Thank you for being patient and not UN-following! :)
This look is inspired by Rihannas "Who's that chick" music video.
Its not an exact copy, and not half as good but I thought Id give it a try just for fun :)
Its a fun look for the summer. Extremely bright, definitely an eye catcher!!
Pink lips and cheeks and yellow eyes!
Well here is my version!
Pictures are not great once again. Im sooo bad at taking them, but hopefully you can sorta get the idea?
The reason why I included a photo of my hair is because I fell in love with this style. A very high bun, think it might be called a top knot or something? Im terrible.. Anyway I think It looks great with bright makeup and shows off the bone structure.
Im not going to list all the products instead ill just list the main ones
Lips: Clarins Lipstick
Eyes: Chrome Yellow by MAC
The purple is out of an old Dior Palette
Blush: E.l.f Fushia Pink
Hope you liked this look, Im going to try do more creative looks in the future so keep an eye out for them :)
First of all I'd like to say Happy New Years, hope It was a good one!
Im enjoying my holidays right now as much as anybody else. Which means sleeping till 1pm everyday, indulging in loads of chocolate and watching Dexter all day long.
My lovely boyfriend got me a Brown Thomas voucher for Christmas. If your not from Ireland Brown Thomas is a luxury department store which sells MAC, Benefit, Bobbi Brown, Chanel etc...
So I went and got myself a few make up and skincare items.
I first bought the dramatically different lotion on its own and it cost me about €20.
I went back a few days later and decided to buy the Clarifying lotion only to find out that I get the lotion and facial soap for free. The funny thing is that the tube and the glass bottle of the moisturizer are both 30ml.
I was running out of my Estee Lauder foundation so I just picked up another one of these. My colour is Ecru which is quite pale!
I must have spend at least 40 mins in MAC as I had no idea what I wanted. I was also running out of my Mineralized Skinfinish Natural so this is my back up.
The blush that I got is called Style. Im in to peachy/orangy blushes lately. I wanted to pick up a blush palette but to my surprise they dont sell them in Ireland!!! I couldnt believe it. This gives me another reason why I should move asap.
I got some lovely shoes in the sale from Office. They were originally €120 and I got them for €44.
They are without a doubt the highest shoes that I own.
And the last thing that I got was this gorgeous tunic dress that I actually already wore on NYE.
Its extremely see-through so I wore a black bodycon skirt underneath. It was €28 marked down from €40.
I got other bits and bobs along the way but they are not worth mentioning as these are my main purchases.
I wish all of you beautiful ladies a safe and happy 2011.
