Mini Haul

I went shopping over the weekend and got some small things to treat myself after a long week in work :)
Necklace from Claire. It was €9
Bracelet from Claires too, and it was €4 on the sale rack :)
Nude Rimmel nailpolish. It was about €4
Gosh fake tan. Purchased in superdrug. It cost €14

Some Harribos of course. Yum Yum
Found these in Claires also, they were €3.50 each.
Lovel LBD from New Look, i paid €30 for it. I wore it that weekend

Some Inspiration

I love looking at pretty photographs of models in gorgeous clothes, pretty makeup and amazing bodies!
They inspire me in a big way! When I see a model with a stunning body it makes me want to go for a jog or do sit ups in my room.
Also models with pretty makeup inspire me to try out different looks, go out of my comfort zone and practise more so i can reach the highest standards.

Love/Hate Tag!

I wasnt tagged by anyone to do this but im doing it anyway :)

LIPS

*Love*
Nude lipstick such as MAC Myth, creme de nude or Elf's Natural Nymph! Their all my fave!

*Hate*
Lipliner, its just not for me! My lips look just fine without it. I guess you might  need  it if your wearing a bright red lip but im a nude girl so no thank you :)

FACE

*Love*
MAC Sunbasque Blush. I use this as a bronzer one day and as a blush another day.It really warms up your face and makes your cheekbones pop!  :)
It has some shimmer in it but not too much so its perfect for me!

*Hate*
Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid. I hate this product with a passion. It has NO coverage, staying power is literally 10 minutes, and it goes on like water? What is the point please tell me

HAIR

*Love*
Leave in Conditioners. Doesnt matter which brand i just love what they do to my hair. I usually use a hair mask instead of a conditioner as my hair is very dry and damaged. After I towel dry my hair I also use either a spray or lotion leave in conditioner to make it that extra healtier and shiny :)

*Hate*
Blonde on top and brown on bottom look or vica versa. Its so tacky! 'Nuff said

EYES

*Love*
Eyeliner, Im currently using MAC fluidline with a Sigma angle brush. In my opinion it completes any eye look, makes your eyes bigger (if done the correct way) and the staying power of this baby is fantastic!

*Hate*
Short eyelashes!! :( Unfortunately I wasnt blessed with long lashes so im always on the lookout for a good lenghtening/voluminizing mascara. Ive tried YSL faux cils. yes its amazing but it dried up in 5 weeks? Its just not worth the money

BODY

*Love*
Fake tan of course!! Ahh i cant say enough about it, basically EVERYTHING looks better with a tan. Makeup, jewelery, nail colours etc. At the moment im using St Moriz tan and Gosh's new lotion! Forgot the name sorry ladies :(

*Hate*
Shaving. Its so irritating and annoying. I wish I had the guts to wax! Its just way too painful.

Feel free to tag yourself!!
Hope you enjoyed reading this

Berry/Purple Lips?

This trend has been out for quite a while. At first I hated it and though how could you possibly wear purple lipstick? But since last winter Ive managed to fall in love with the idea of looking... different?
Ive searched all over google and didnt find one Blonde wearing this lipcolour? So im wondering should I bother jumping on the band wagon or pass up the offer in case it doesnt suit me. Here is a few pictures ive found, it looks especially good on dark skin!! Jealous.. :(

If youve tried purple/berry lip colours please let me know as im sick of my nudes at this stage.. I need to inject colour in to my life :)

My tattoos!

YES IT HURTS!!!!!!!
The first question that I always get asked is " does it hurt". Of course it does, its like being stabbed with a needle over and over again. Oh wait? Thats exactly what it is hehe
I got my first tattoo 2 years ago, It felt like the worst pain of my life because i got it on my ankle. Its only small and didnt take too long. I payed about €30 for it as I got it done on holidays! Thats considered to be a bargain as the minimum price in most Tattoo Parlours in Ireland is €60
My reason for gettin this tattoo is unexplainable, i got it done purely because its pretty :)
My second tattoo is even smaller and I got it done 1 and a half years ago again on Holidays! Its a music note behind my ear and simply meants that I have a passion for music! No I dont sing or play an instrument but I do listen :)
It didnt hurt so much and only about 5 minutes or less. Its visible when I have my hair up but ive had 2 jobs since I got it done and nobody ever mentioned it. I think tattoos are beoming more acceptable now.

I got my third tattoo about 9 months ago In Wild Cat Stephens Green Shopping Centre in Dublin. I got the idea from Rihanna, she has this tattoo on her collar bone. Dont think i am copying her for the pure reason because shes Rihanna, No! I love the meaning of it and have been searching for a quote that would catch my eye. It only took about 10 minute and even though it hurt the tattoo artist talked to me non stop and that made me a little bit distracted. I paid €60 for this baby :) I know you cant tell but this is on my right side/hip
ps. sorry for the tan lines...yiiiikes

On to the last one!
My biggest one!!
This took 2 and a half hour, and oh yes it hurt like hell! I got this done in SnakeBite Dublin. The most amazing place ever, very friendly and professional staff! This cost me €250 a bit on the pricey side but it was worth it! My Boyfriend came in with me, and on the way i picked up 4 lollies! They helped so much as I had something to bite in to! And also it gives you a sugar rush which is ment to ease the pain! My tattoo artist said that I was very good and didnt move one bit, it was easy to work with me :) I was glad to hear that but it didnt make the pain go away!
As i got up she asked if she could take photos for her portfolio, after 2 minutes of standing i felt like i was going to faint. I felt dizzy and nearly blacked out :/
This tattoo is now a week old :) Im still putting Bepanthen on it to help it heal nicely! I cant have a bath for about a month, and no fake tan for 3 weeks "sad face" haha

Yes people have said to me what happens when your 25-30 and you dont want the tattoo anymore. To be honest im not thinking that far ahead, when im older most people will have tattoos and it will be pretty much acceptable everywhere and by anyone (hope so anyway) Im living for today and enjoying every minute of it so ask yourself why not?
If you are against tattoos and dont like mine its ok :) not everybody will! But I love mine they are a part of my body just like me ears and my nose! I will never want to get rid of my ears!!
Thank you for reading

Top 5 Products that I cannot live without

First of all let me say that when I say I cant live without them, I truly mean it :)

My number one holy grail product is MAC STUDIO FINISH CONCEALER
I have this in two shades NC15 and NC30 for when im pale and when im tangooed :)
I cant say enough about this product, the coverage is fantastic!!! I once tried to cover one of my small tattoos with this, and guess what IT WORKED! I will repurchase this untill the day I die :)

Number two is BATISTE DRY SHAMPOO
I tried every single type of this product! The original is too boring. The one in the orange packaging is very overpowering, and the purple is uhm Okay? Recently they came out with one that has glitter in it.. I of course had to purchase it :) Its just lovely, makes my blonde hair very shimmery without being too much? Although i do find glitter all over my boyfriends clothes at the end of the day.. Ooops! :P

Number three is ESTEE LAUDER DOUBLE WEAR FOUNDATION
I already did a blogpost about this, I am in love with this product its just amazing! Try it for yourself and you will see ;) Dont be shy and ask for a sample at yout nearest counter... Thats what I did :)

Number four is ST MORIZ FAKE TAN
This deserves a blogpost of its own. If you are in Ireland you can get this from Penneys and some chemists. My one has St Moriz mouse tan and spray!! Which I havent tried just yet ;)
This goes on instant and gives you a gorgeous colour. Not one bit Orange.
When you wash this off, the colour stay ON! Brilliant eeh?

And last but NOT LEAST is LA ROCHE POSAY MOISTURIZER
Its marketed for Oily skin made fragile by overdrying products! YES thats exactly what I have, and it makes my skin feel very moisturized without makin it red stingy or oily. I paid €14 for it in my local chemist which is a bargain in my opinon. This was my first tie tryin La Roche Posay products and let me tell you im very impressed!

Review on Estee Lauders Double Wear Foundation

First of all let me start off by saying this is my first ever high end foundation so i  haven't had much experience but in my opinion I can still give a good review :)
The foundation costs €34 here in Ireland and you can get it in Brown Thomas, Arnotts, and in some chemists.
It claims to have Medium to Full Coverage and have a 15-hour staying power. It also has an SPF of 10 which is always good to protect our delicate skin but no so good for photography :( The foundation is
  • Oil-free
  • Dermatologist Tested
  • Non-acnegenic
  • Fragnance-free
Now I have this foundation in two shades, Ecru 16 and Pale Almond 02. I got color matched at my local department store when i was wearing fake tan, and they recommended me Pale Almond. I happily went along and purchased it, until i got home and realized how pink it actually was. My skin is far from pink its more neutral than anything so I was very disappointed. However I continued wearing it as it didnt look too bad with powder on top and some bronzer.
The second time I got color matched I was given Ecru. A very light neutral shade. It suits my skin tone perfectly now that im pale.
What I found was that the coverage is phenomenal. It covers my uneven skin tone and acne scars perfectly. I have very enlarged pores and it made my skin very even. It did not make my skin shiny at all, although I did touch up with MAC's mineralized skinfinish natural throughout the day.
There is a brilliant variety of colors to choose from and you can even get a matching concealer which I might have to try soon and do a review on it.
The foundation did not break me out, and let me point out that I am prone to break outs and have to be very careful with what i put on my face. I didn't feel "suffocated" having this on, but then again I am quite used to wearing heavier foundation to cover my acne scars.
The only downside in my opinion is the packaging. It comes in a glass bottle with no pump. So you have to pour out the foundation and most of the time you will pour too much.
Overall I give this foundation two thumbs up for making me look pretty without much hastle :)

First ever post...

Im very excited about starting my own blog :) Here Im going to talk about all things beauty, fashion and tattoos. Why tattoos? I guess to make this blog a little more different from others out there, I have 4 tattoos and am planning on getting more. I know not everybody will like them and Im ok with that :)
Im currently a full time sales assistant in a phone shop where im planning on updating my blog as it is a pure 8 hours of torture...
In my profile I mention that I am starting a make up course in October, and yes I am thrilled about it! Next year Im doing a full time course in Fashion, Media and Theatre Make Up.
So you can expect reviews of make up and beauty products, i often place orders online of things you cant get here in Ireland so ill include them.
I cant wait to get my first follower :)
