Sigma Premium Brush Set

Hi Dolls!

I decided to treat myself to some new brushes since some of mine are starting to shed.

I placed an order with Sigma on the 22nd of March and I received it on the 28th. So thats 4 working days! I was not expecting that since it did come all the way from the US.

I ordered the Premium Professional  Brush Set Which retails for $139 with a $10 discount which they have at the moment.

With shipping I paid $156.64 which is €112.97

You might think its expensive but for 15 brushes and a brush roll its an absolute bargain considering they are just as good as MAC brushes which can cost up to €50 a brush. These work out at about €7 a brush.

This is a leather brush belt which stores all 15 brushes.

The face brushes come with protective cases. I kept them so I can put them back on after I wash the brushes to keep the shape and prevent them from fluffing out.

Large Powder - F30
Fluffy and rounded tip. Suitable application of powder on face and body. Natural bristles

 Lip Brush - L05

 Tapered Face -  F25
Large domed brush with tapered tip.
Ideal for contouring.
This is my favorite face brush. I wanted the MAC version of this for the longest time but I just couldn't part with €57.

Powder/Blush - F10
Medium round brush ideal for precise blush application.

Tapered Highlight - F35
Smaller version of the F25. Great for more precise contouring and highlighting.

Duo Fibre Powder/Blush - F15
Medium sized tapered duo fibre brush. Widely disperses highly pigmented or mineralized powders. Blend of natural and synthetic bristles.

Large Fluff - E50
This can be used to apply one colour all over the lid. Can also be used for precise highlighting and contouring the nose/jawline

Large Concealer - F65
Can be used to apply cream-based products such as cream blusher to large areas. Synthetic Bristles.

Concealer - F75
Small concealer brush with a slightly pointed tip which allows for more precise application of cream products in small areas.

Blending - E25
Oval shaped brush with gently chiseled sides. Ideal for blending out eyeshadow in the crease. This is my favorite eye brush. This is my third one and its still not enough. I use them every day for blending eyeshadows and under eye concealer

Tapered Blending - E35
Fluffy, long bristled brush with tapered tip. Ideally used to apply and blend color to the crease area and to soften harsh edges.

Small Tapered Blending - E45
Small domed brush with highly tapered tip. This brush can be used to precisely apply and blend intense colors in the crease area.

Short Shader - E20
Flat, short, slightly rounded, and dense brush. Perfect for applying colors on the lash line and smudging eyeliner on the lid. I find this one a little too rough for the bottom lash line as i have extremely sensitive eyes.

Flat Definer - E15
Small, firm and flat brush that can be used to line the eyes or fill in brows.

Small Eye Liner - E10
This brush is ideal for drawing a fine line along the lash line. Its ideal for creating artistic designs.

With every purchase over $30 you get a free gift.
Mine was a mini E25.

I also recently joined the Sigma Affiliate Program so they send me the F80 Flat Top Kabuki which looks like this. I received it on the same day but in a different package.

I've been using this for applying foundation. OH MY GOD. It is the best thing ever invented. Gives me full coverage without leaving any streaks behind and is extremely soft!

I know this is a very long post but its mostly pictures so I hope you didn't get too bored :)
I am absolutely delighted with my new babies and I've been having so much fun trying them out!

I'd like to thank Sigma Make up for extremely fast delivery, fabulous brushes and of course for my little freebie.

Thank you for reading lovelies

Jewelry Box

I took this picture of my Jewelry Box a while ago because when I opened it I realized that I have a slight obsession with roses. Can you see?

I am not a big accessories person so I dont own much. Although I do have a different box where I store some of my more expensive pieces such as necklaces and rings. Sadly I never really wear them

My last shopping trip

Hi Dolls!

It was my day off on Wednesday so I took a little trip out to Dun Laoghaire, then town and then Dundrum.
Dundrum has to be one of my favourite shopping centers, it has everything I could possibly want.

I was planning on getting a few things but ended up picking up 3 items so I was really impressed with myself.
I think Im starting to control my shopping addiction :)

I first went to the Inglot stand where I got these beauties
5 pan palette €28 and €22 with my %20 discount card

L-R 366, 450, 360, 46, 395

Once again I can tell you that my love for Ingot eyeshadows is still as strong as ever.
Extremely pigmented, reasonable price, lovely packaging.
I simply do not wish to spend anymore money on MAC eyeshadows which have CRAP pigmentation and cost a bomb.

I then popped in to Penneys/Primark.
I was planning on getting a few spring/summer items but they didnt have my size in any of the things that I wanted.
There was this shirt thought. The smallest size was 16. And yes I bought it :/
Chiffon Blouse €15

I tried it on and it didnt seem too bad. Of course the sleeves are way too long and baggy but I will have to wear them up. The shirt goes a little below my bottom which I like. It has beautiful gold buttons which look better in person than on camera.

I saw the same shirt in New Look for around €35 and it only cost me €15 in Penneys.

I was running out of my St Moriz tan so I picked up another bottle.
Nothing exciting
St Moriz €4

I do love this tan and would  recommend it to anyone whos looking to get a nice glowy tan for the price of a happy meal :)

I am going to stop shopping for a while since Id like to save some money in case I go on a holiday this summer. Nothing is planned but you never know!

Thank you for reading and have a lovely weekend girlies

Glamour Mag Freebie

I heard so many people talking about Glamour mag giving away Clinique products that I had to get one myself.
I chose the Moisture surge extended thirst relief gel. It is actually quite good as a primer and moisturiser. It is meant for dry skin so If you have oily skin I would stay away from it.

I will probably repurchase the full size bottle once I run out of this.

The 30ml bottle will probably last me just a little over a month if not longer. I use this during the day before I apply my make up. Clinique say that this can be used over make up but I wouldnt do that just because it could look cakey or mess up my make up.

Thank you Glamour for this little gem

P.S I still havent read the mag. Ooops

Happy Thursday lovelies  (:

All Cosmetics Wholesale Order

Hi Dolls!

This is my fourth time ordering from All Cosmetics Wholesale and every single time Ive been more that impressed.
ACW is an American based website that sells brands such as MAC, Clinique, Bobbi Brown, Sigma, Benefit, Dior, Sugarpill etc.
All their products are very cheap but they also sell discontinued products which could be at a slightly higher price.

I ordered 3 items with which they included 2 freebies. So thank you for that :)

I got
MAC Cream Colour Base in Rich Coral - $18.99
MAC Glitter Sample 3D - $3.99
MAC Glitter Sample Golden Lemon - $3.99

Shipping - $5.75
Total - $32.72

I made my order on the 9th and received it on the 18th. So it came in 9 days all the way from the US? I am impressed

The samples are a great way of trying out new colors. And if you like them you can then go ahead and purchase the full size pots.

The cream color base is very pigmented. It is actually a bright orange rather than coral the camera unfortunately didnt pick that up.

Freebies

I would recommend for everyone to go and have a look at the website. I will be making my next order once I get paid :)

Thank you for reading ladies :)

Product of the week

My lips have been getting quite dry and chapped lately as well as my cuticles which I blame on work.
So it was time to dig out my reliable 8 Hour Cream

It retails at €25

Ive hit pan on it so I shall be repurchasing pretty soon. It also comes in a squeezy tube which I dont like because its boring. I prefer the fun little pot.

Some may think its over priced but it will last you ages and you can use it anywhere on your body. My mum uses it on her face for example.

Im going to be honest and tell you that the smell is nasty and also the consistency isnt very pleasant, its like a thicker version of vaseline but as long as it makes my lips soft I wont complain :)

Thank you for reading lovelies x

Origins

Hi Dolls!
I got these little beautys for my mum for Christmas.

I was more excited about them that she was, and after a few weeks I noticed that she hasnt used them at all. Obviously she didnt understand the whole Origins hype like I did. So I gave them a new home.. My room :)

I paid €40 for the 3 products which was a good price considering the VitaZing Moisturiser is about €35 on its own.

So here is my mini review :)

Origins Drink-Up Overnight Mask
This mask is lovely. When I had extremely dehydrated skin over the cold months it really helped to get it back to normal. It really put the moisture back in. Ive stopped using it since because my skin has changed.

Origins VitaZing SPF 15 Moisturizer
The reason why I choose this gift box was mainly because of this product. Ive read/watched many reviews and was going to purchase it for myself but found that I couldnt afford it at the time.
This is said to be a multi-tasking product as it hydrates and energizes your skin. Once rubbed in to your skin it turns a slightly darker color matching your own skin color.

changing color

as you can see my hand looks darker

This is what gives you the glow and not only that but it slightly covers the redness and imperfections. It is not a tinted moisturizer its something of its own kind.
I find that I dont need as much concealer/foundation after applying this. It truly is a little gem. If I was you I'd get a sample of this at your Origins counter and give it a try.

Origins GinZing eye cream
This is said to brighten and depuff your eyes. It is applied after all your make up by gently patting it on. It also gets rid of your dark circles but not permanently just until you take your make up off. It works by reflecting the light away creating an illusion of brighter eyes. It does work but I find that it can crease your concealer and make it look weird. It a very runny consistency and Im just not sure about it? As I said it definitely works but Id rather use an eye cream before my make up or at night time.

So you can see that Im a huge fan or VitaZing and everything else is also good but not amazing.

If you agree or disagree with me do leave a comment and let me know.
